I stayed here during the trip and loved it. The hotel was quiet and the location was excellent and fantastic just off still very close to all main attractions and the centre of Florence. The staff was very friendly, doing great job. The a double room was absolutely perfect and big size, with central heating, a flat-screen TV, and a refrigerator. Really enjoyed a tub in my private bathroom...

Oh, how I loved the Italian breakfast! The rooms were surprisingly decent, with hair dryers and blackout curtains. The free parking was a nice bonus. Cons: Who needs to know the check-in time anyway? Such a useless piece of information!

our recent stay at a B&B in Florence was perfect. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the location was ideal - close to attractions but away from crowds. The owner, Marco, was friendly and gave us great tips. The breakfast at a nearby café was amazing - the best croissants ever!
parking situation was disappointing

The location was fantastic, right in the centre of Florence. the room was massive with lots of room for all our stuff. It was a novelty going to a cafe nearby for our breakfasts. the host gave us a good insight into the best places to go in Florence and good places to go to for an evening meal. the room had a small kitchen with everything we needed, including a much-needed fridge. the neighborhood was full of restaurants and became alive at night.
Felt really like home, no complaints whatsoever.

I had a fantastic experience staying at B&B Porta San Frediano. Marco, the host, was incredibly helpful and gave me great recommendations for exploring the city. He even shared interesting insights about the local sport! Meeting him was a highlight of my trip. The room was comfortable and had a small kitchen which was convenient. I also loved the vibrant neighborhood with its many restaurants. I highly recommend this place for a true Florence experience.
While the room was great, it did feel a bit dark without opening the windows. The Wi-Fi signal in my room was also not very strong.

The value for money at this B&B was excellent - spacious and clean room, comfortable bed, and extra blankets if needed. The location was great, in a quiet area with a local vibe and within walking distance of all the historical sites. The staff, especially Marco, were incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with recommendations for nearby restaurants and even recommending a tailor when we needed one.
The food for breakfast could have had a bit more variety, especially in terms of savory options.

I absolutely loved the elegant and beautifully decorated room at B&B Porta San Frediano. The attention to detail in the decoration really added a touch of charm to my stay. The general areas of the hotel were also well-maintained and inviting. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with amenities such as free WiFi and a flat-screen TV that made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
I would have preferred if the children working there were a bit more attentive and helpful towards senior guests.

We could easily walk to places like Piazza Michelangelo and the historic center. the room itself was simple but comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. the host was incredibly helpful, providing us with maps and recommendations for the best places to visit and eat. the breakfast options were varied and delicious, catering to different tastes.
There was some noise from the construction happening in the building, which disrupted our sleep in the morning.
